We take great pride on raising our animals on the most natural diet possible, therefore all of our animals are fed garden culls daily from our vegetable garden, are fed carefully selected feeds that contain No GMO's and No Corn. Our feeds also contain pure vegetable protein. About Farming Difference... Triple Star Acres is unique in its approach to farming, in that we raise our animals humanely and in as natural of an environment as possible. All of our beef, pork, chickens and turkeys are raised without the use of any antibiotics, artificial hormones, growth promoting drugs or chemicals. **Our Heritage Yorkshire pigs are 8-10 weeks old when we purchase them from a local farmer who breeds heritage breeds. In early spring we receive our piglets to raise until fall or winter. They are free to be indoors and outdoors as the barn door is always open to the outdoor spacious pen where they are free to roam and dig. Our pigs are fed a certified Non GMO diet, which includes a pure vegetable protein and garden culls from our vegetable garden. **Our beef is grass fed. The cattle is raised in the most natural way possible, are free to graze at pasture everyday, and are fed high quality round bales of hay throughout the winter months. **Our free roaming chickens are free to be outdoors or indoors from spring to fall. They spend their days outside and forage in plants, eating insects, and are fed a certified Non GMO pellet as well. **Our free roaming turkeys are also raised outdoors from spring to fall. They also spend their days outside and forage in plants and eating insects, and the barn door is always open for them to come in and out. Our animals are not rushed to weight, and usually take double the time of the average farm. The animals are fed a high quality Non GMO diet as well as fresh water that gives them the nourishment to thrive. The lighting in the barns are all natural and offer stress free environment for them to grow. Processing Difference... Triple Star Acres works closely with Provincially Regulated and Approved Abattoirs. The poultry processing plant is less than 1 minute away, which is unheard of and unique to our farm, allowing for minimal stress to be endured by the animals resulting in a much higher quality product. The poultry is processed, refrigerated and packaged on the same day of harvest; ensuring freshness that is unmatched in the industry. Lastly, our processing plant has a live government inspector checking each bird, as they move throughout the plant. The pork and beef is not rushed to harvest, and we travel less than 45 minutes to the processing facility. This process alone reduces stress on the animal and is extremely humane. All the pork and beef is processed, individually packaged and frozen to lock in the fantastic flavour. All cured pork is naturally smoked and cured in an old fashion smoker. At no time are chemicals used to artificially smoke the pork. All the beef is dry hung to age a month for optimal tenderness and flavor. Finally each cut of beef is individually packaged and frozen to lock in the freshness and superior flavor. Products Chickens... Triple Star Acres is exceptionally proud to offer customers farm-grown, ethically and happily raised chickens. We are also extremely honored to have been accepted into the Chicken Farmers of Ontario's Artisinal Program in 2015. We are inspected and audited yearly, which that alone gives customers comfort knowing we are raising quality and naturally raised chickens. Our birds' diet consists of 100% all natural certified non GMO grain, which is free of any and all animal by-products, artificial growth agents and antibiotics. Our free roaming chickens are free to be outdoors or indoors from spring to fall, and their barn door is always open. They spend their days outside and forage in plants and eating insects. At night, our birds are tucked away in newly built ventilated buildings with clean well water, an abundance of feed and a thick bedding of shavings to keep our birds extremely comfortable and warm.These extra efforts and practices help us produce healthy, flavorful whole birds for our customers to enjoy! Our free roaming turkeys have access to the outdoors or indoors from spring to fall, their barn door is always open. They spend their days outside and forage in plants and eating insects. At night, the turkeys are tucked away in a well ventilated building with clean well water, an abundance of feed and a thick bedding of shavings to keep our turkeys extremely comfortable and warm. It is raised in an environmentally friendly manner with the cattle grazing our local fields and pastures. This means the best 100% naturally raised grass fed and quality hay fed beef. Our beef is FREE of hormones, steroids, animal-by-products, antibiotics, corn and soy. The Garden The Veggie Garden... The Labine family is proud to produce top quality vegetables and garlic throughout the summer months (end of July to middle of September). We use a mix of traditional and innovative farming methods to produce the best flavour and top nutrition. We only use the manure from our animals combined with a locally purchased organic fertilizer. Our farming practices reflect on our respect for the land and working together as a family. As farmers, we know how important it is to protect the environment. We deliver from Thursday to Sunday!
We purchase our Heritage Yorkshire pigs from a local farmer, at 8 - 10 weeks old in springtime. They are sheltered by a barn, and are free to stay in or roam around in their spacious outside pen where they love to dig and play.
Our pigs are fed a certified non GMO diet, which includes; pure vegetable protein, and our own garden culls. We guarantee that our animals are FREE of hormones, steroids, animal-by-products and antibiotics.
We process our pork during the fall and early winter.
In 2015, the Chicken Farmers of Ontario (CFO) accepted our farm into their “Artisinal Chicken” program. They inspect and audit our facility yearly. Our chickens roam free, raised on a natural diet of plants, and insects, supplemented with certified non GMO grain. We guarantee that our animals are FREE of animal by-products, artificial growth agents and antibiotics.
They live in a well ventilated building with clean well water, and thick bedding to keep them comfortable and warm. They have open access to the outside and can forage for plants and insects.
Our poultry is processed, refrigerated and packaged on the same day of harvest. Ensuring a freshness that is unmatched in the industry.
We process chickens three times per a year, once in June, August and October.
We are proud to offer our customers happy, healthy free roaming turkeys for Thanks Giving! They live in a well ventilated building with clean water, an abundance of feed and thick bedding to keep them comfortable and warm. The doors are always open and they are free to come and go as they please.
They forage for plants and insects outside, and they have 100% all natural certified non GMO grain, free of any and all animal by-products, artificial growth agents and antibiotics, in the barn.

To reduce our carbon footprint we, recycle, compost, manually weed and till, we pick by hand, re-purpose and re-use, and ensure our fields have efficient drainage.
We participate in sustainable farming practices such as soil and erosion protection, crop rotation, pest management, and very limited spraying to keep the soil as rich as possible.
Our vegetables have and always will be fresh, and top quality. Our products are picked daily to ensure freshness.
We only pick the veggies when they have ripen in the field, to ensure freshest taste.
We source local strawberries & fruits to provide our customers with a one stop shopping experience for local produce. We have long-standing relationships with these farmers, and their farming practices are in line with our high standards.
Don't feel like cooking. Come and sample our traditional homemade favorites. We have the best lasagna, meat sauce, pork 'n beans, sweet 'n sour meat balls and cheese cappaletti. All made lovingly from traditional recipes.

The Farmer's Market is unique in its approach to farming. Our farming practices reflect our respect for the land. As farmers, we know how important it is to protect the environment.
We raise our animals humanely in the most natural environment as possible. We don't rush our animals or birds to market size. We are very close to our local provincially approved Abattoirs, where our animals are inspected and processed.
Minimizing travel reduces the animals’ stress levels and as a result our meats are tender and tasty.
We hand select the best beef from our Black Angus herd. We guarantee 100% naturally raised, grass, and quality hay fed beef. Our beef is FREE of hormones, steroids, animal-by-products, antibiotics, corn, and soy.
Our beef is dry hung and aged for optimal tenderness and flavor. Each cut is individually packaged, and frozen locking in freshness, and ensuring superior flavor.
